ABOUT USOUR VISION The aim of KFKO is to support children in Cambodia who are facing illiteracy, disability, domestic violence, social violence, alcoholism, drug abuse, malnourishment and legal conflicts, as well as orphans, HIV/AIDS patients, children with single parent homes, and children who used to be involved with gangs. Education is the key to improving conditions in Cambodia. By getting proper education, the people can obtain better employment and have the capability to help themselves and their communities now and in the future.
The ultimate goal of KFKO is to successfully establish well-being, prosperity and peace to the people of Cambodia. To accomplish this goal, we aim to enable Khmer society to develop truthfulness, compassion, justice, morality and mutual magnanimity. We also aim for the Khmer society to progress in community development in order to increase the people’s income and raise their standard of living. OUR MISSION 1 - To establish a training center (English school) in the community which would provide education to children who otherwise have difficulty receiving education, and help them attain empowering skills. 2 - To promote self-sufficient means to acquire daily food for the orphanage through planting vegetables and rice, building a fishery and raising livestock such as chicken, duck and pigs. 3 - To teach vulnerable communities about morality, health care, sanitation, hygiene, food, child rights and advocacy. The goal of this is to reduce harm within the Cambodian community.
